The lodge’s restaurant features a comfortable indoor dining area as well as a traditional Lapa — a South African-style open-sided structure with a thatched roof — where guests can enjoy the outdoors while staying close to nature, and viewing animals. Guests are welcome to savor breakfast, lunch, and dinner in either setting, and relax with a selection of beverages at the bar.

Savor, Relax, Enjoy – Dining in Comfort
Eat fresh and local
Our kitchen highlights fresh, local ingredients, with many dishes inspired by regional flavors. Much of the meat served comes directly from the farm, offering a true farm-to-table experience. Whether you are dining indoors or under the Lapa’s thatched roof, every meal is a warm and memorable celebration of Namibian flavors.
Braai - traditional cooking on open fire
Braai is the traditional Southern African way of cooking over an open fire — more than just a barbecue, it is a social experience that brings people together around good food and warm company. Meat is slowly grilled over glowing coals, creating rich, smoky flavors that are truly unique to the region.
At Roidina Safari Lodge, we regularly host special braai evenings at our restaurant, where guests can enjoy freshly prepared meats, local specialties, and the relaxed atmosphere of dining under the African sky.
